Christmas is the best time of the year, a time to give, a time to receive, a time to share and a time to be free.

But this specific Christmas – in Lebanon , with everything that happened so far , HAS to best all the Christmase-s !
It has to be an over joy to compensate and to create balance !
A compensation to all the worries, to all the fear and to all the anger we have been through throughout last year .

We deserve a moment of happiness
We deserve a moment of peace
We deserve a moment of jolly ,of smiles up to our ears !

So my gift to you this Christmas is a manual to set you free !
Transporting your mind into a “Post war free” Zone: where only love, safety and happiness reside !

You’re only a few steps away to be Merry 🙂

Step one : Decorate as much as you can !
If you do not have enough decorations , manually do some .
Artistic work is extremely beneficial and has healing properties exteriorizing all kind of stress and transforming it into beauty !

Step two : Turn the m music ON all the time : my choice would vary between Christmas carols and classical music. Carols have joyful tunes that affect the mind switching moods into “happy”, and classical music have healing properties that relaxes the neurologic physiognomy of our nervous system .

Step three : COOK !
Even if , like myself, most of the cookies will end up burned , the act of cooking is fun (even when alone) ..and if the cookies are uneatable : have fun decorating them ! And use them as decoration items !

Step four : Make Christmas Cards and gift “Honesty “!
Writing cards and personalizing gifts is a therapy on its own : sharing feelings with the people you love and specifically being honest about certain things that contradicted you at some point, has a healing affect ! And frees you from any grudge you might have
It also clarifies things and sets relationships into a fresh new start.
Try also Writing cards to people you don’t love – without necessarily giving it to them – this helps you be honest about your feelings towards them, and towards yourself. It also teaches you a lot about what kind of person you are, when reading them again 😉

Step Five : EAT AND INDULGE
Because You deserve it

And finally Take a moment to Pray and Meditate : simply to remember what’s important, and moreover to be thankful and grateful to everyone and for everything that you have done so far , starting with “yourself”.
